Have you been thinking about what different dishes you are planning to make for the upcoming holidays? I have. I have my list of dishes and ingredients sitting by my seat in the living room and have been adding and taking away things while I watch TV in the evenings.
Besides making main dishes or desserts, I like to make some kind of appetizer. I made this yummy dip a few years ago and everyone loved it. So, I think I will make it again for either Thanksgiving or Christmas Eve.
2 cups of cooked shrimp, roughly chopped
1 & 1/2 cups of cocktail sauce
1 8oz softened cream cheese
3 green onions
1/2 a cup of fresh grated parmesan cheese
Mix softened cream cheese and cocktail sauce until smooth and mixed.
Add in shrimp.
Mix and then add chopped green onions (set aside some to garnish with) and the grated Parmesan cheese (also set some aside to garnish with).
Put in fridge for a couple of hours. Serve with crackers or veggies.
Great, now I am craving it! I might have to make a trial run. Wouldn’t want to serve anyone something if it isn’t just right! LOL But, then again, I will sit with this bowl and eat the whole things for dinner!
Thank you for stopping by and visiting! I hope you have a wonderful day!
