I can’t believe it is official autumn! Where did summer go? It was a quick summer that’s for sure.
As you guys know, I don’t decorate for fall until Fall is official here. I enjoyed Summer and September for as long as I could. My home décor reflects the season or month we are currently in.
So, this is my farewell and last look at summer in my home.
As you can see, I decorated for September with apples and sunflowers. That’s what I think of when I think September.
I am absolutely in love with the apple orchard candle that I have been durning. I can’t for the life of me remember where I bought it. It smells like pure apples. No cinnamon or other spices added to it. Just fresh apple scent!
I picked this little apple picture up at a thrift store back in the middle of summer thinking ahead to September. I really like it and it was only .99 cents.
The apple bucket was also a find at a thrift store this past summer. It still had the original Michael's tag on it for $7.99. Yikes. I paid .99 cents for it. All the sugary apples I have had for years. Picked up at different times at thrift stores and collected.
Another sign of Autumn is the Harvest moon. The total eclipse of the harvest moon is tonight. This is a tablescape is set to reflect the harvest moon from a coupe of years ago.
Since it is still September until next week, this little side cabinet will stay as it is until October rolls around.
However in honor of the official Fall season starting I did add this large meta free standing pumpkin. I picked it up over a month ago at Family Dollar.
Have you started decorating for Fall? Is it a slow process for you or do you jump right in with guns blazing?
Thank you so much for stopping by and visiting today. I hope you have a wonderful Sunday!
