Final TTF Party!

Hi everyone!

Yes, you read the title to this post correctly. After a lot of talking, Linda and I have decided that this will be our last TTF party.

TTF CoHost 1

Why?

Both of us are crazy busy right now and have not put in the time that we know we should regarding Thrifty Things Friday.

Linda has been in Texas for weeks working on clearing out her mom’s home to get it ready to sell and to move her mom to GA. This is a huge undertaking. And she needs a break from worrying about this party.

For me, this is our insane time of the year for our business, DTL Herbs. This year we have made a lot of huge changes. We have farm land now, we have greenhouses, we are starting a Farmer’s Market of our own and numerous other projects. Time is very precious. When your business is agriculture, you have a window of growing time and have to throw yourself into it 100% because this is our source of income! We have to make every minute count.

We want to thank all of you for your weekly involvement! I personally want to thank all of you and to thank Linda. I have been hosting this party for about 3 years and it has been a blast!

So one last time…..show us your thriftiness!

  3. Diann, I totally understand. Having hosted Project Inspire{d} for the past several months, I get how much time it takes to do a link party. And you ladies do it so well. You are both wonderful hostesses. I'll miss the party....but I'll stop by to see what you've got going. And please add my link party to your calendar (Mondays at 8 PM ET).

As an avid gardener who has had many springtime/early summer endeavors like running a friend's garden shop for spring at the last minute, teaching container classes and speaking, and just plain gardening while working full time....I get that you can't do it all. In fact, when I was going like crazy doing those things in my first house, I actually had a friend come and clean for me. Who wants to be inside when you can be outside in that precious little bit of time.

Best wishes on your herb season. May you be blessed with extraordinary success!!

  17. Thanks for hosting this party! I think I've been linking up for the past year or so. It has really helped me explore new blogs and meet new blog friends. And thank you for every single sincere comment. Have you considered having someone new host TTF? I'd love to volunteer for the job. Maybe have another blogger help me out?
