Thrifty Things Friday # 143

Hi everyone!

TTF CoHost 1

Linda and I are so happy you could join us today!

Okay, here is a shocker for you. I like to hunt down and find pretty thrifty treasures! I know, you are stunned! Well, probably not! LOL However, I am really cutting back on the things I buy and purging out the things that I have.

Another thing I try to do is to use my pretty little things in ways they aren’t necessarily meant to be used. like I recently bought this small silver plated tiered server.

It has some damage to the silver plate but, it was .50 cents and I had the perfect purpose to use it.

I use it to hold my watches.

I use a couple of these type tiered servers for jewelry, Bracelets are in one and the other one has fun rings and pins. They look pretty, I can get to it easily when I want to actually use them as servers and they aren’t getting stored away.

How about you? Do you use different treasure finds for things rather than their intended purpose?

Remember, I feature different post linkups each day at The Thrifty Groove Facebook page. I only feature posts that have a direct link back to this party. So, please always include a link back.

  4. I use many things for something other than their intended purpose. Cut glass trays are great for pretty perfume/cologne bottles or jewelry, and small containers for soap dishes, rings. etc.
    Thanks for hosting.
