Thrifty Things Friday #137

Hi everyone!

TTF CoHost 1

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving last week! I had a great time with my family even though the weather was sub-zero! But, it was stunningly beautiful back in the woods with all the pine trees laden with snow. So tranquil!

I am sharing a pretty white ironstone pitcher I found recently. One of the exciting things for me when I first started blogging was to find out I wasn’t alone in my love of white ironstone! I bought my first piece back in the 1980’s and I swear, I assumed everyone thought I was insane. “It’s just and old white teapot” is what I heard. Well, I still have that old white teapot! LOL

I love the pretty details on this beauty!

I paid $2.99 for this pitcher. And that was the FULL thrift store price! I know, didn’t even blink an eye! LOL

I case you are wondering, I actually do use my pitchers. There is always at least one filled with iced water on the dinner table.

Linda and I are excited to see what you have to share with us today!

Just a little FYI…

I will be hosting a fun little giveaway that is starting this Saturday. Stop back by and enter!

  12. Thanks once again for hosting Thrifty Things Friday! I'm getting to know more and more fellow bloggers and bargain shoppers:) I'm a huge fan of white ironstone, too. You probably noticed that my stenciling tutorial from a couple of weeks back was on ironstone platters--one came directly from England. I purchased it at a "car boot" sale when we lived there! Take care--

  18. There is a booth in an antique mall that I like to visit that has a huge cabinet full of Ironstone. It is gorgeous! If I just had the space for one more collection, Ironestone would be it!
