Right now I am away at our Annual Girl’s Shopping Weekend with my mom, my Aunt and my cousins. We have done this every year for the past 17 years. We have however, really slowed down when it comes to the whole shop ‘til you drop part! LOL Age can do that to you! Now it’s more gabbing, laughing and eating!
Last week I had lunch with a friend and she gave me this adorable “Santa’s Laundry” garland. How cute is this!
It came in Santa’s Laundry bag.
I decided to hang it on the shelf in the living room.
Normally I am “bling it out” kinda gal at Christmas. However, this year, I am going a bit subtle.
I went out in the yard and cut some fresh cedar branches to tuck here and there. And I gathered some pinecones that are littered all over the yard to use.
I had also recently picked up a large faux Holly bush for .69 cents at SA that I snipped party and used. I also bought a package of red and gold Christmas bulbs at a thrift store for .49 cents and place a few on the shelf.
Troy won this Kohl’s cinnamon scented snowman candle at a recent event we did through our business. I thought it was adorable.
That is my simple Christmas living room shelf décor. A gift, a win, Mother Nature and about $1.10 from the thrift store.
