White Ironstone Tea

Hi everyone!

A few weeks ago, my mom and I did a little thrift store shopping. I was mainly looking for things to create a costume but, of course, I found a few other goodies.

It has been a really long time since I have found a new to me teapot or any nice ironstone pieces. So, when I found these treasures I was so excited!

Although this would be considered a coffee pot instead of a teapot, I was thrilled to find it!

And to find matching cups is almost impossible at thrift stores!

I even found a couple of Johnson Bros bread plates at the same time. I have a partial collection of these dishes. I would love the whole set.

Can you tell it snowed last night? I brought this little pumpkin in to add to this tea and it still had the snow on it.

I also found this amber glass creamer and sugar at the same time I got the other things above.

It was a very successful thrift hunt!

And I am thrilled with my latest treasures!

  1. What a great shape to that pot and SCORE to find matching cups!
I recently found some beautiful amber glass as well.
Sadly it was not packed well and when I got home found it had broken. It is such a beautiful color.

  2. Your white ironstone is so beautiful!! What have I found? A silver teapot set I really like. Mostly I buy only for myself, but I bought the teapot set to sell for the silver, but alas it is silverplated. It's old so worth a bit more than I paid. Unfortunately, I have fallen in love with it.

  6. Wow! Diann, you did very well with your finds! What fun to bring them home and put them to use. Your images are very pretty! I really like the amber glass c/s set too. The pumpkin with snow on it is so cute although I'm not a huge fan of the white stuff. We get way too much of it for my liking. Thank you for sharing these at Tea Time and have a wonderful day.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  14. The coffee pot has really beautiful lines. I don't use mine for coffee, but they are lovely as vase! I just checked the snowhite regency dishes: I hope you'll find some more, the creamer and the gravy boat are lovely, now I'm going to look for some too!
