Thrifty Things Friday #134

Hi everyone!

TTF CoHost 1

Linda and I are happy to see you made it to the party today! Can you believe that we are already one week into November! I need time to SLOW down!

And Christmas is less than 7 weeks away! Yikes!

Speaking of Christmas (yes, I am so subtle in my segue ways! LOL), I collect large Santa’s. I have been collecting them for more years than I can count. So, when I saw this jolly old soul at Goodwill a couple of weeks ago, I couldn’t resist buying and adding him to my collection.

He was in wonderful condition. Just a few little scrapes on the wood base.

But, for $3.00, I thought he was a happy edition to my other Santa's.

A sweet face.

Santa and I sat down with a cup of tea and enjoyed the Christmas edition of Midwest Living magazine. Time is really going to fly from now until the new year! Have you started making your Christmas lists of things to do?

Linda and I want to remind you to please link back to this party on the blog post you link up with. And we would love for you to be a follower of both of our blogs (here’s Linda’s).

We both also feature different party links on our blog’s fan page. so, head over and like them both when you get a chance please!

Okay, lets see what thriftiness you have for us this week!

  1. Whoa! I can't believe the price you got on that Santa - excellent! And I've never gotten the first spot at your party before, so yay! I'm panicking, I haven't bought the first gift, don't even know what I'm getting anyone yet. I need more time too! Take care - Dawn @ We Call It

  2. 2x I was supposed to have my grandson over here ( and we were going to bake your herbed cornbread ) and 2x he's not come for this or that reason / now my stove quit on me so when we DO bake it'll be in a brand new oven, lol :)
