Hi everyone!

I have to admit, during the summer, I really do neglect any type of sprucing up the décor around our home. Generally once spring hits, things pretty much stay the same until Fall. I just honestly have no time to put into re-decorating areas. I have a very full plate from the first of May until September.

When I recently went through and did a big purge of table linens, I found these two placemats. I love the colors and the design. It just looks fresh to me. So, I used them butted up to each other is a kind of table runner for the coffee table.

Along with the linens, I have a simple vintage aluminum plate and a jar candle. The colors in the linens and the aluminum just feel Summer “Cool” to me.That is all I have on my coffee table. Very simple.

Do you change up your décor a lot during the summer months?

  1. My decor has been granddaughter and summer projects. Now it's time to clean, de-clutter and perhaps enjoy the last of the lazy days with some flowers around the house. That vintage aluminum piece is beautiful

  2. I LOVE these placemats. The colors and everything.

  3. Living in Florida allows me to enjoy summer year-round, so I don't change much more than a bit by my front door.

I love your bargains! Thanks for sharing your blues.
