Happy 4th of July
I hope you all are having a wonderful day with family and friends!
We had so many rainy days in the past week that I didn’t get to get nearly the things I had planned on getting done! So, one rainy morning, I decided to do a little butterfly painting.
Last Summer I bought a bunch of unfinished wood garden picks with butterflies attached to them. I painted up quite a few of them for this year’s Farmers Markets. I just thought they would be a fun and cute little addition to some of our larger planters of herbs that we had for sale.
Now, I am not any kind of artist so, the butterflies were pretty simple in detail. Just some fun and bright colors.
People ended up plucking them from the plants and just buying the picks. So, I had a few left that I never got around to painting and figured I might as well paint them now.
Like I said, no real details, just fun happy colors!
See, I told ya, just fun and silly!
Linda and I are looking forward to seeing what thriftiness you have to share today!
