It’s an Overcast Day ~ Tea

Hi everyone!

Today was such an overcast day that I just felt like snuggling in with a good cup of tea and read.

I know, not a very productive day!

I am using a teacup set that my husband got me this past Christmas. It is not an antique or even vintage. But, he knows I love my purple flowered teacups!

I shared my thrifted aluminum tray in a recent TTF post. I have had this set of thrifted aluminum sugar and creamer for many years now.

Nothing very fancy today.

I think I am going to go make myself a ham salad sandwich, pour a cup of tea and read. I hope you are have a relaxing day! Thank you for stopping by!

  3. We started off with thick mist this morning, but now we have brilliant sun (and heat) here in southwest Louisiana. Keeping cool inside in the AC. You might enjoy my Wetcreek Blog at www.wetcreek.blogspot.com. Aunt Linda

  4. Sounds like here! Nothing but rain, rain, rain and damp, chilly days. Unfortunately I work outside the home now so I miss those days of lazing around. And these are NOT unproductive days . . . you refreshed your soul today :) Glad you were able to enjoy it with your pretty tea set!

  7. It's a lovely teacup. We're having a very damp day, with drizzle and a few sunshining seconds (it can't seem to last a whole minute) and of course, I'm having tea in a purple rose mug!

  8. I'll take some of your rain! I'm a purple lover, too and your cup is wonderful. Your husband knows you well -- a special gift. Happy Tea Day!

  9. Very nice of your husband to buy you a teacup with purple on. Love the white teapot.
I would love to relax with a sandwich, tea and a good book but this whole week I'm on the run.

  10. Hi Diann,
My relaxing days are few and far between these days, with going to physio twice a week. *sigh* I like your violet teacup and the aluminium c/s set but I LOVE your pretty white teapot! We had sun most of the day and warm which was nice for a change. Thank you, my friend, for sharing and coming to tea with me. Hope you have a beautiful week.

    Blessings,
    Sandi
