Features from TTF #113

Hi everyone!

featured

Geez time is flying by! This past week has been insane around here. I know most of you out there probably feel the same way. Welcome to summer, which officially starts this Friday! Crazy time!

I would like to introduce you to Laura from Harvest Lane Cottage. She posted about her thrifty week and listed the various things she did that were thrifty. I used to do this myself to help keep me on the thrifty track. I probably should get back to doing it again.

And Debra from Homespun shared a fun and interesting book that depicts how much work it was just to get a meal on the table back in the day. I love to read these kids of books. It helps remind me not to take so many of the everyday things we have for granted.

Thank you ladies for your thrifty inspiration!

Now, head over to Linda’s and see her features for the week! And we can’t wait to see what you have to share with us tomorrow at TTF #114!

  2. There really IS a great sense of accomplishment when we can create something useful and beautiful from 'cast offs'. I almost bought that book not long ago because it looked so interesting!
