Thrifty Things Friday #80

Hi everyone!

happythumb

I didn’t do a lot of thrifting this week. I had big plans to hit a huge, once a year outdoor flea market that is held by the local historical society at a race track. But, best laid plans and all…blah..blah…blah.

However, I did noticed that the few thrifts I got seem to cover the next three holidays.

Early last week I made a quick craft supply run to the Dollar Store. I watched a friend of mines 4 children along with the princess and thought a Halloween craft was in order to occupy the kids. While there, I saw these fun black plastic skull charger plates.

How fun are they for a Halloween tablescape?!

Then a quick run into a local thrift store (looking for things to make Halloween costumes) I spotted these cute little Autumn/Thanksgiving candles still in the package.

And then finally, I stopped at a yard sale and picked up this fun bright ceramic Christmas platter.

Whenever I see these types of little nice Christmas plates, I pick them up and use them for Christmas treats that I give to people. So, they get the treats and a fun platter with it. It just adds a bit more to the gift than a plastic dollar store tray.

So those were my “3 holiday thrifts”.  What did you find or create that was thrifty this past week?
