Thrifty Things Friday~#66

Hi everyone!

happythumb

I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July! Can you believe it is already July? I need someone to slow down time for a bit….Anyone? I wish!

As I am sure most of you awesome thrifters out there are like me when it comes to the “after the holidays clearance” sales. This is when we stock up for the next year.

When I hit these sales, I put my treasures in a box (or 2) and label it “2011 new holiday finds” (or whatever year it is). Last Fall I hit a great end of the summer sale at CTS. Everything was 90% off. Of course there wasn’t a ton of fun dishes and things like that but, I did find a lot of great summer toys for the princess and a few other doo dads.

When I opened the box this Spring, it was like opening a Christmas gift because I had forgotten most of the things that I had bought.

I discovered these two fun patio table tablecloths.

Perfect for summer. I love the zipper so it can be used with the umbrella. I had been making my own tablecloth or table squares for the patio table for years.

And since they were 90% off, I got each of them for .29 cents. Can’t beat that!

This red/white/blue one got used this week for our little 4thn of July BBQ.

And this red/white ant one will probably be used a lot outside this summer. It is just so perfect for outdoor meals.
