Thrifty Things Friday #62

Hi everyone!

If you have read my Tuesday post you know that I have been at our cabin for the past two weeks. We will be home this weekend. That is the reason I haven’t visited lately. I will be spending a big chunk of time catching up with all of you and the thriftiness that you have shared here in the past couple of weeks!

I haven’t visited any posts from last week so, I can’t feature anyone.  I will resume that next week.

While I have been camping, I have managed to stop at some yard sales and do a little thrifting. I know, shocking huh? LOL

At one yard sales I found these cute ceramic pillar candle holders.

I bought the 6 the lady had.

I don’t think she ever used them.

All of them still have their price tags on them! They were from Bath & Body Works and were originally $9.00 each! yikes!

I bought all 6 for $1.00! Woohoo! I think they will be so pretty lined up with candles on them on a buffet or the dining room table. Even just clustered together would look nice.

Now, on to your thriftiness

I hope you are having a fantastic day!

  6. Now that is a thrifty deal. All of them for $1! Glad you have had a bit of time away to your cabin. It's always nice to get away from the every day grind. I sent you a guest post quite a while ago. Not sure if you ever received it. It was kind of a spoof on being thrifty. May not be one that you would want to use. I posted it in Windows Writer and then e-mailed it to you. Maybe it didn't work. Thanks for hosting.
    Hugs,
    Jann

  10. You really scored on those candle holders!

There's so much you could do with them - they would even work with a Red, White and Blue theme for 4th of July!!

    WELL DONE!!

  13. Thanks for hosting! I passed up a garage tonight because I was late for a kickball game. Never again! We didn't even start on time. The whole time I was wondering what goodies I would have found.
