Hi everyone!
I wrote this at the cabin.
So, my tablescape this week is on the front porch of the cabin. I used some of my things that I had in the trailer and the rest is from the cabin.
This cabin was my grandparents and then handed down to my parents.
A very simple table for my mom and I.
I decided to let Mother Nature supply the “chargers”. The Princess provided the evergreen branches and pinecones for this table.
The dinner plates and bowls were my grandmas. The Field and Stream terra cotta mugs were my mom’s.
The coffee cups are mine from our trailer. As is the teapot, creamer/sugar and white linens.
The tablecloth is my mom’s and the glasses were grandma’s.
We have a complete mix of silverware that were my grandparents as well.
So, this tablescape was pulled together by 4 generations of women in our family! My grandma (Mom’s mother), my mom, myself and the Princess.
This may not be the elegant table that I had originally planned for my Mother’s Day table but, for my mom, myself and the Princess, this is the best place on earth. And I know my grandma was there with us in spirit!
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you are having a wonderful day!
