Wow, tomorrow is Easter! That came up quickly! I decided to do a simple Easter tablescape for you. Okay, simple to me! LOL I am using new, old, vintage, plastic, paper and regular dishes. Everything was pretty inexpensive.
I had planned on scattering Easter candy throughout the table and then realized that I didn’t want the princess to see it out before the Easter bunny brought it!
I started with a pastel plaid tablecloth that I bought years ago at a thrift store for $1.29
I used these pretty pink and purple placemats bought at CTS last year for .28 cents each. And these white ceramic bow napkin rings (I have a set of 6 bought at a thrift store for .98 cents for the set. I had a 50 % off coupon)
Each setting is a different combination of the pastel plastic dessert plates and bowls. I bought the dessert plates and bowls in sets of 4 for $1.12 at Kroger this year.
I just bought a set of four of these wavy charger plates at CTS. I got these purple ones and two other colors. the chargers were clearanced to .97 cents each.
Okay, I did pay the full retail price of a $1.00 for the package of paper plates and paper napkins at CTS.
I used the white frosted thrifty glasses bought at an Estate sale (6/$1.00) and then I used the different pastel colored vintage glasses from a thrift store for 1.75 (set of 6)
All of the little Easter doo-dads are from CTS last year clearanced to .25 cents each)
The napkins were gifts.
Last week Troy and the princess headed to the grocery store and before they left the princess said to me, “Mama, if you are very good, I will bring you back a special surprise treat! Okay?”.This is of course what we usually say to her so, she thinks she was being cute. I told her okay, I would be good while she is gone. Troy figured they would pick out a special donut from the bakery or something like that. That was until the Princess saw the big table of these candy bouquet's! She informed Troy that this one was the specialist of all of them and Mama needed it! LOL Oh, because I sooooooo need all that candy! Troy had NOT planned on spending that kind of money but, the princess was so in love with it. So, that is why I have this very special Easter treat!
I hope you all have a very Happy and Blessed Easter!
