Hi everyone!
Well Easter brought me some lovely flowers!
First I received this pretty floral arrangement from the girls at the high school we volunteer with. There was colorful Easter eggs in it as well. I have to say that I really love the yellow, white and green color theme of this table setting today. And it all started with this sweet floral arrangement. Thank you again girls!
The Easter bunny brought me these sweet miniature Daffodils
These sweet mini Daffodils are happily planted in the flower bed now and look so happy!
Troy bought me this beautiful Easter Lily. Once it is finished blooming, it too will get planted. As I am sure most of you know, Easter Lilies are forced to bloom for Easter. It is not the natural time for blooms. The greenhouses have quite a feat doing this each year since Easter dates are not the same.
My blooms usually stay beautiful for almost 2 weeks from the time they fully bloom. Once the all the blooms are gone and we are no longer worried about a frost, it will get planted in my full sun flower bed.
It will bloom again next Spring. And that following Fall I will dig up the bulbs and split apart all the baby bulbs and replant. The baby bulbs probably won’t bloom for at least one full season. The second season I will have more pretty Easter Lilies.
He also gave me this pretty new teacups set. I love the beautiful yellow roses.
So, today we are having tea among beautiful flowers.
The white and green ceramic teapot is a recent thrift find. It is my first McCoy teapot.
And guess what? My shamrock plant is blooming!
Such pretty delicate little white flowers.
Thank you for stopping bye! I hope you enjoyed your visit and are having a wonderful day!
Don’t forget to join us for Thrifty Things Friday Linky party! It can be a post about anything that is thrifty! I will have the post up at 4:00pm Thursday!
