Okay, we have a different type of post today. Next Thursday, March 15 is The Thrifty Groove’s 3 year anniversary! Wow! I never would have thought that just sending out some posts about good deals to friends and family would have turned into a 3 year anniversary!
Since my life is always changing, it seems to get reflected here as well. Which I now realize that this blog has turned into a journey of a small part of my life. It is fun for me to go back and see the different directions and interests I was involved in.
It has been a fun journey and I look forward to blogging for years to come.
We “meet” so many new friends through blogging. We share all kinds of tidbits of our lives with each other. It becomes a huge circle of friends.
I want to thank all you wonderful TTG followers and email subscribers. Your kind comments and emails often keep me blogging. We all have those moments when we just think, “Oh, I just don’t want to do this any more.” And then you get a wonderful or very thoughtful message from one of your online friends and it can change your mind.
I thought long and hard as to what would be a good giveaway. And since I am about the thrifty I knew shipping heavy gifts via mail was so NOT thrifty. And since I love magazines and I think most of you do as well, I decided to give a year magazine subscription as a giveaway!
But wait! there is more! (that was my best infomercial voice LOL) Since this is my 3 year anniversary, I am going to have 3 winners!
Here are the details…….
- For the next 3 weeks, on TTF party, I will announce a winner. So, on the 15, 22 and 29 of March, a new winner will be announced.
- You can choose from any of the magazine subscriptions below. And it doesn’t matter if someone else already chose that subscription, you can still choose it.
- If you are a winner, keep in mind that magazine subscriptions generally take 8-12 weeks to begin.
- This is a personal giveaway. It is not sponsored by any company, just me.
- I tried to select a large enough variety of different magazines so everyone finds something of interest.
- If you win, I will need your name and mailing address so I can order the subscription as a gift for you.
- This is only opened to US residents. I am so sorry that I couldn’t find an international magazine company. I spent 4 hours online trying to figure out how to include all my International friends. The cheapest magazine subscription I could find that would ship oversees was $72.00! YIKES! I just could not afford that.
Sound fun? I hope so!
Okay, so how do you enter this giveaway………
- Be a follower of The Thrifty Groove. Leave a comment to let me know you are a follower.
- If you join the Thrifty Things Friday linky party and you have a link back to this party on your post, you get a second entry. Leave another comment.
All the comments (entries) on this post will be used to select the first giveaway winner. Next week’s party, we will do this all over again and select the second giveaway winner. The following week’s linky party will be the third chance to win.
I will announce the first winner on next week’s TTF party. This giveaway will end March 7 at midnight. And then another giveaway will begin the following day. Does that make sense? If you are not sure about how this giveaway is working, do not hesitate to drop me an email and I will try my best to explain it better. LOL
Since this post and the next two are going to be pretty long due to the giveaway, I am not going to do any features. You guys are already having to deal with a big honkin post! LOL
