Everything is Better with Icing!

Hi everyone!

The other night that sweet tooth kicked in and I scrounged through my baking things and found a couple of Blueberry Cheesecake Muffin packets to bake.

Of course, they just weren’t sweet enough to satisfy that sugar need. So, I needed to bump it up a bit.

IMG_0917Icing! that is what they needed!

IMG_0919Everybody has their own quick icing recipe. I thought I would share mine.

In a bowl mix together:

3/4 cup of powdered sugar

1/4 teaspoon vanilla

2 Tablespoons of half and half

1 Tablespoon of melted butter (REAL Butter! No fake stuff!)

Mix with a fork or small whisk until smooth. There may be a few powder sugar bumps left if you are impatient like me! I can deal with it!

IMG_0915This will glaze a dozen muffins or SUPER glaze 9! LOL

And it is perfectly acceptable to sop up that extra icing with a piece of muffin. In an emergency, a finger will do!

  1. Oh yum! I've not seen this recipe. My mouth is watering. Do you really keep ingredients like half and half on hand? I never have these things when I need them.
