Right after Christmas I stopped by CTS to check out what treasures I could find. I showed you drapes and linens I got in a different TTF party post. Today I thought I would show you something else I had picked up.
Well, that’s nice but, the original sticker says it was priced at $6.99 and it is now marked down to $6.97. Big skippy!
Well, that little yellow “as is” sticker means something is wrong with it and it is now reduced to 90% off that yellow sticker. Yup, it was .69 cents.
Let’s see the broken part.
The back side piece of glass is missing. I’m okay with that because it won’t be seen when I use it.
I always check out the metal lanterns online at places like Pottery Barn, I saw these ones recently.

They are definitely not the same. But the “feel” could be the same with a little redo. And .69 cents and a few dollars for some spray paint is a far cry from the above prices which are $29. $39 and $99 (yes, each).
I am hoping to redo this lantern soon (weather permitting) and I will show you how it turns out!
Now, let’s check out some fun posts from last week’s party!
We had so many fun and varied link-ups last week. Don’t you just love that!
Over at Laurie’s Little Bits of Creativity, etc. she made this simple, thrifty and sweet heart banner.
Kara at Hobbies of a Homemaker gave us her recipe for homemade laundry detergent and shared other homemade cleaners.
And over at The 2 Seasons we saw a quick, thrifty and fun redo of a cute end table.
Thank you ladies for such fun thrifty inspiration! Here is the “I was featured” button. I hope you will copy for your blog!
Please remember to link back to this party in the post you are sharing with us. I never feature posts that are NOT linked back to The Thrifty Groove.
Let the thriftiness begin!
