White Wedgwood

Hi everyone!

Today we are having a simple tea with a few newly acquired tea finds. “Acquired”, in this case, is my fancy way of saying thrifted.

I have been trying to get ready for a holiday show we are going to be at this week and so last week I hit up a few thrift stores looking for candlesticks to use to make holiday pedestals. I had no luck finding any candlesticks but, I found a new teapot and creamer & sugar.

Now I need a new white teapot like I need a hole in the head! I seem to have an obsession for white teapots. But I just could NOT pass this beauty up!

White Wedgwood tea 009This Strawberry and Vine white Wedgwood teapot was made in 1988.

White Wedgwood tea 002White Wedgwood tea 006White Wedgwood tea 008I purchased this little grape vine white creamer and sugar at the same time I bought the teapot. They have no markings but, I thought they were pretty and looked nice with the teapot. They were $1.92 for the set.

White Wedgwood tea 003I had set this little tea with everything but the teacup. I still wasn’t sure which one I wanted to add. After several different teacup sets, I decided that I really loved the pop of color this teacup and saucer added to this table.

  1. Wow...Really lovely!! The new white pieces look fantastic with your fall linens and the blue teacup!! ( I decided last year that blue was the perfect pop of color to go with the yellows, oranges and browns of fall.)

  5. Absolutely lovely, Diann! I have an obsession with white teapots too. It's hard to leave one sitting on the shelf when I see one! I am however trying to control myself as I am literally running out of room for my 'obsession.' Love the little c/s you found to go with them. You do find the bargains, my friend! Your teacup is perfect for your tea table. Very pretty choice. Thanks so much for sharing this with us today and have a delightful week.

    Blessings,
    Sandi
