Thrifty Things Friday #33

Hi everyone!

This week just flew by! When this post goes live I will be at a Holiday show. We have two tables rented for this event. One for DTL Herbs and another for Diann’s craft items. We are super excited about offering 3 new products at this show! We have a Turkey Seasoning Blend, a Stuffing/Dressing Herb Blend and our Herbed Salt. The first two items are a special for the holiday season only. We have had to eat a lot of turkey and dressing here over the last couple of weeks!  So, for Thanksgiving, besides turkey, we are having ham! LOL Wish us luck!

Okay, on with the show!

Last winter we had a booth at a local trade center. Well, I couldn’t just sit still in one place for very long! I HAD to visit other vendors! At, what became one of my favorite vendors booth, I bought this pretty leaf condiment set.

TTF33 001It was brand new still in the box. All the pieces were still wrapped and packed. He had $3.00 on the box. Well, I thought $3.00 was a fair price for this set. However, I was buying several other items from him and he lowered the price to $2.00. Okay, I can do that too!

TTF33 002TTF33 003This set is so cute and perfect for this time of the year. We used it the other night to hold toppings for our ice cream.

TTF33 004I also recently bought this large wicker basket/tray at a thrift store for $1.00.

TTF33 005I love the size of this tray! I have been using it a lot at night to take a pot of tea, cups & saucers, creamer & sugar plus a small plate of snacks into the living room.

TTF33 006Now let’s check out a couple of fun link-ups from last week’s party!

Kathy at A Delightsome Life shared the lampshade she made. You have to see how this lampshade started out!

102_1720And Liz at The Midwest Cottage shared her redo on this farmhouse inspired dresser.

012Over at Raindrops and Daisies, she shared this beautiful arrangement she made from her garden. You can’t get more thrifty than that!

  15. What a great set. You are so creative with different ways to use it, too.
Personally I prefer ham to turkey, so that would not be a hardship for me.
Have a great time at the show. I was supposed to be doing an indoor rummage sale this weekend at fair grounds, but guess I have to plan again for next month. Instead I will be visiting an antique booth open house. Scoping it out for possible future space.
