Thrifty Things Friday Party #20

Hi everyone!

I thought I would show you some of the baskets I have recently picked up. All of the baskets were .50 cents or under.

Bargains 6-11 013Bargains 6-11 014I bought these two basket trays for .25 cents each at a yard sale.  They are going to be used as the “In and Out” trays for our business paperwork.

Bargains 6-11 015This little garden themed wire basket was new with the tags still on it. It was .35 cents at a yard sale. I will be using it for putting some packets of our rub mixes in for display.

Bargains 6-11 016-tileThis picnic basket was .50 cents. It looks like it was a gift to someone because it had a ton of curling ribbon and bows on it.

Bargains 6-11 018-tile  I love this yellow “chips and dip” basket tray. It was .50 cents.

Bargains 6-11 020-tileI really like this wicker tray with red metal sides. It has a spot that needs to be scrubbed. But, for .25 cents I am okay with that.

Bargains 6-11 022Just a simple unfinished wood tray. It was .10 cents. Now I need to think of how I want to redo it.

Bargains 6-11 023This is just a great large wicker tray. It was .50 cents.

So, what thriftiness do you have to share this week?

  4. Wow! I love all of those baskets. The first two will be great for in and out baskets. The decorations on that garden basket are so cute. I think I'm just naturally attracted to rectangular baskets. Enjoy them.

  12. Not just a lot of baskets but really great baskets. Your 10 cent tray, if I was crafty, I would decopage the bottom with seed label packets or great vintage seed packet graphics. The one with a spot could easily be painted. Since blogging I have found there is NOTHING that can not be spray painted. Love the idea of the in/out baskets. Perfect idea.
