Our Freebie Flowers

Hi everyone!

This little guy has been hanging out on our dill.

I have mentioned before that we have filled our flower bed with free perennials. All of these flowers were either bartered or traded with other folks at plant swaps.

Outdoor2011spring 006Outdoor2011spring 007I love the fact that I have not bought a flower plant in 2 years! This flower bed is just full and bursting with different flowers and colors!

  8. Diann,
Your flowers look so lush and vibrant. The terrific heat here has taken a toll on some of my perennials. We did have thunderstorms yesterday where we got 2-3 inches of rain in one day!! That did help a bit....

    Hugs,
    Debbie

  9. I used to be a member of a plant group and I loved the plant swaps. It was one of my favorite things. Seems like those plants always live too because they're suited to the soil in your area!

  16. What a pretty post!!! Your photos are just lovely! Nothing is better than free flowers!
Once again I am just loving the tour of all the gardens that have linked in to my little party! I am so excited to visit each and every post...they are all so inspiring and I am NEVER disappointed! The creative gardens and colorful displays that I am lucky to see are inspirations that I would never have found had I not found each of the gardeners I see online! Thank you so much for sharing your garden with my Friday Flaunt this week...I do hope you will link in again soon!
