Hi everyone!
Today is just a small redo of my table floor lamp. I have just had my shamrock plant on it since St. Patrick’s day. Nothing very exciting but, the plant is so healthy I didn’t want to just get rid of it now that St. Patrick’s day is over.
But, it needed a little pretty container to be in. so, I used my thrifty white ironstone tureen that had no lid with it so, I got it or $1.00. I have been using this tureen a lot for decorative purposes. I also added a little spanish moss to fill in around the planter and the the tureen.
I really love the way it looks in this tureen with the moss. I added my two thrifted swans that I did little makeovers on and a recently thrifted Easter Bunny figure.
I hadn’t noticed that the little bunny had a chip out of his hat.
This notice on the bottom “For Decorative Purposes Only!” cracked me up. What? Was someone planning on covering the figurine in melted cheese and serving him? Okay, moving along.
Since I really liked the little guy and he was only .20 cents at a thrift store, I thought he deserved a little “touch up”.
I ended up painting his whole hat because my blue wasn’t the exact color of the original blue. But, I think he looks just dapper now!
