A Wee Bit of an Irish Tea

Hi everyone~!

Well, St. Patrick’s Day is almost here and I thought I would show you a sweet little teacup I recently found among other things in a box we won at an auction. It was just tossed in the bottom of a box of junk. We had no idea it was in there because we hadn’t inspected the box beforehand. But, we had saw a couple of glass items on top of the box that we could use (we are gearing up for a festival next month in which we are renting a booth) so, when nobody bid on the box, the auctioneer looked at us and asked if we would give him $1.00 for it. Sure, what the heck. So, it was sold. LOL

The box ended up containing several treasures but, I will share those at a later date. This teacup was such a pleasant surprise to uncover. And great timing!

Okay, let’s have a bit of tea and Irish wisdom.

  19. This is exciting and wonderful! It is gorgeous! Love all your Irish pieces - so beautiful. The same thing sort of happened to us. We attended an auction at a storage facility. In one of the lots was a box - for an old coffee maker - inside the box was the most beautiful set of china! My heart leapt with joy!
Thank you for sharing this with A Return to Loveliness this week - my heart leapt for joy for YOU!
