Pink Thrifty Treasures

Hi everyone!

Last week I showed you the Irish teacup I found in a box I bought at an auction for $1.00. I thought I would share a few more little treasures that were in that box.

I have to tell you, this auction is a real hit and miss type of auction. It is at the same Trade Center that we have our little booth. And as luck would have it, our booth is right next to the auction room so, we can see what is going on and bid from our booth if we so desire. Kinda handy huh? LOL And we are now in the habit of once we win a box of junk…..er…treasures we immediately go through the box and take out all the things we don’t want and walk them down to the Veterans' booth and donate them. Another very handy thing!

So, today I picked out a couple of pretty treasures with pink in them.

I was happy to find this creamer and sugar retro set. They are both in perfect condition. I think they are quite pretty.

When I saw this floral candle holder I immediately  thought it perfect for Spring. The pretty pastel iridescent painted flowers are just lovely. However, there are a couple of chips here and there.

3-11 Bargain Finds 053It is a Fitz and Floyd piece and still had the TJ Maxx price tag on the bottom. I have already used this as my first Spring decorating item. And I love it! I will show you what I did with it this coming week.

3-11 Bargain Finds 056I plan to turn it into a pedestal to be sold. I think it will make a lovely one. But, first I have to use it/display it for awhile. LOL

3-11 Bargain Finds 057Well, those were my pretty pink treasures from the auction box.   I hope you enjoyed my treasure hunting finds. Thanks for stopping by!

  24. Candleholder is unique so I love that. Chips? Chips and broken china let in HIS light even more, just like people. At least that is my way of living, lol. Blessings on your week.
