Pink, Girly and Froofy!

Is “froofy a real word? I don’t know but, it fits!

Hi everyone!

According to the Hubs, I just took this project way past the “what a guy can handle girlie-o-meter!” That must be why the princess and I like it! LOL Let’s face it, Valentine’s Day is the only time of the year most of us girls can do serious girly decorating around our home.

This is what is normally on my wall in the living room. I made it a long time ago.

projects 1-2011 036 I wanted something to cover this for Valentine’s Day so, I decided I would make a wreath. I gathered up a bunch of things that I thought I might use. Remember, I am using what I have and staying out of the stores to buy things. I got the wreath and boa at a thrift store awhile back. Both were .50 cents. The flowers are from clearance last year.

projects 1-2011 028 I love “U-pins”. I guess they are actually called “Tidy pins” according to Dritz anyway. I always have these in my sewing box. I used a u-pin to secure the boa to the wreath and then just wrapped around and but u-pins in here and there to hold it in place.

projects 1-2011 031 All pink and poofy now!

projects 1-2011 033 I decided it didn’t need a lot more added to it but, just a little “bouquet” of faux flowers should do the trick.

projects 1-2011 034 projects 1-2011 035 Yup, that is pretty girlie! But, it will only be up until Valentine’s Day is past. I think after that, I will hang it on the princess’s bedroom door.

projects 1-2011 PINK, GIRLIE, FROOFY AND POOFY, ya gotta love Valentine’s day!

  27. D, I love your poofy foofy wreath! It's so girly and cute. I think pink feathers rock.

I'm trying to come up with words that don't possess the letter 'a' because that key keeps sticking. I need a new keyboard on my computer, and I'm trying to put it off... however, it is beginning to get the best of me. Not sure I know enough words to circumvent the problem. LOL!

    Happy PS to you...

    XO,

    S :-)

You and I both possess that certin letter in our names. Look it worked in one word and not in another in the same sentence! LOL!
