Ooh, Ooh, Ooh…Look what I Won!

I was so excited when this package arrived last week! I was the lucky winner of Miss Marydon’s giveaway at Blushing Rose. Before I share my beautiful new treasures, I want to also show you some lovely items that Miss Marydon has at her store Blushing Rose Boutique.

Look at that pretty rag baby quilt!  Love the fabrics and the colors.  You can check it out Here!

Isn’t this the cutest little tooth fairy pillow? You can see it here.

Okay, now let me show you the treasures I got!

Marydon Tea 003 I received this sweet teacup and saucer. The pink flowers are so pretty and perfect for this Valentine. And the gold leaves and trim just set the pretty pink off beautifully!

Marydon Tea 009 Marydon Tea 010 It is Royal Stuart, Spencer Stevenson. Just lovely!

Marydon Tea 011 I also received this beautiful Teapot cozy! This I my first cozy. I was so excited to win it! Not too mention, isn’t this fabric gorgeous!

Marydon Tea 006 Marydon Tea 007 I also received a bag of gold tea sugar. And I totally forgot to add it to my tea today.

Marydon Tea 008 Marydon also included this adorable tea notecard with an Earl Grey teabag. Isn’t that just so cute! I want to thank Marydon once again for this lovely gift! I can’t tell you how much I love it! Guess what? Marydon has another giveaway going on right now and you need to run over there and sign up for this giveaway. It ends this Friday!!

Today I decided to make you a yummy strawberry finger sandwich.

Marydon Tea 005 In this sandwich is a cream cheese mixture with honey and walnuts and then sliced strawberries. Oh yum!

Marydon Tea 002 Marydon Tea 004 The pretty pink dessert plates came from Goodwill. This was the third set of dishes Troy picked up for me. He got 3 salad plates, 3 dessert plates and 3 saucers for $3.00. They are so pretty. But guess what? Last Friday when I went out thrifting, I found stacks of dinner plates, salad plates, dessert plates, saucers and teacups of this exact design! Oh, I was so thrilled! They were marked individually between .30 - .60 cents each! I bought enough for a service of four! I am planning on using them for our Valentine dinner!

Marydon Tea 018 So soft and delicate and I love the silver edging.

Marydon Tea 017 Marydon Tea 014 According to Emily Post “if the tea is of any size from 20 upwards, the table is set in the dining room and two intimate friends of the hostess pour tea at one end, and chocolate at the other”.

Marydon Tea 013 A tea pot should be placed on the table with the spout of the teapot facing the hostess or pourer

Marydon Tea 012 The correct way to eat a scone is to break off bite-size pieces, then spread it with a small amount of jam or butter. If Devonshire or clotted cream is served, dab onto your scone after the jam

Marydon Tea 016Thank you so much for joining me for tea today!  I hope you enjoyed your visit. On Wednesday I will be posting a CSN giveaway! So, please stop back by!

I will be joining these lovely ladies:
