Strawberries and Dip~YUM!

Hi everyone!

You might remember about a week or so I showed you some thrifted pretties I repurposed. (HERE is that post). Well, I have been making more. I told you that the idea was to but a tealight in them but, they can be used for many different things. Like dip!

I found this beautiful dinner plate. The pretty little pink roses are just lovely. It had two chips in the plate so, I got it for .80 cents. Fortunately, chippy is okay by me, especially when I am buying it to repurpose.

Jan Bargains 2011 028 Yup, it is a Haviland Limoges plate. So, sweet!

I also found a pretty little pink saucer. So, both got pedestals added to them. The saucer also got the cut glass votive holder to it.

Valetines Day 11 009Back in the summer, at a street fair, I bought several different dips from one vendor. This one is for fruit. A blueberry dip.

Valetines Day 11 006Let me tell you, this dip is so yummy, Just add one cup of sour cream.  Yummo!

Valetines Day 11 011 Who knew these glass votive holders are perfect for holding 1 cup of dip!

Stack this pretty saucer stand on top of the sweet dinner plate stand for a two tiered fruit and dip server.

Valetines Day 11 012 It is just such a pretty pairing!

Don’t you love the beautiful pink rose quilted heart shaped placemat? I just bought two of them at The Christmas Tree shops. So pretty!

Valetines Day 11 007Valetines Day 11 008 I bought this cute little heart plate at a thrift store for .40 cents. Just perfect.

Valetines Day 11 016 Valetines Day 11 015 Now won’t you join me for a little strawberry and yummy blueberry dip treat?

Valetines Day 11 013 Thank you for stopping by! I hope you will visit these fun blog pretties!

  21. OOOH I saw those placemats at CTS and my sister insisted that I already have enough valentine's day decor, so I left them! I think I'll go back! I use my chippy plates under plants. Great idea for a votive use! Linda
