Help! Blogger problem!

Thanks everyone for letting me know that for a $5.00 fee I could get a lot of extra storage. I had no idea about that. So, now I have a bunch more space.

Okay, everyone out there that uses Blogger for their blog. Picasa is telling me that I have no more room for pictures. I have deleted some photos but, once they are removed, they are also removed from my blog. And not too mention, it is time consuming. Has anyone had this problem? And do any of you have any advice or solutions for me?

Thanks for your help. I am at a point where I can't do any new blog posts! Arghhh! How frustrating!

  1. Yes, I had the same problem. I had to pay them I forgot what, it wasn't that much for a bunch more room. Anyway, I thought it was worth it. I didn't want all my pics to disappear. You may have to bite the bullet and buy more space. Hugs, Marty

  2. All my photos are safely on my computer. I have no idea of why folks use Picasa. I have Carbonite for backup. If you have a computer (which you obviously do) why not store the pictures there?

  3. Five dollars will fix it and pay for a lot more photos I understand.

  5. That extra little bit of cashola shouldn't hurt even an ardent thrifter like you for more than a few moments. It will resolve your problem instantly. Cherry Kay

  6. Diane... I will give you a tip about photos. If you have your pictures set to open larger when clicked, picasa stores two of each photo. That takes up more room. Five dollars is cheap, though. I think I may be getting there. It would be nice if it would let you know when you're getting close, wouldn't it?
glad you got it straightened out.

  7. Hi Diann, I had the same prob..I deleted alot of files and reduced some..and will probably just pay or find another place to store. What some people don't realize is that everytime you create a post..picasa automatically stores the files for that specific blog..not sure why..I never realized that...if I had I would have changed my settings! I wish you luck!
    Hang in there!

  9. I ran out of room a few months ago but have deleted what I consider non essential pictures so I've made room for more and I'm not adding as many as I used to. I have blogged since 2005 and also transferred over pics from AOL journals before then so I can delete a lot of the old ones from there that really have no value. I think 5 dollars is reasonable, but I really don't want to pay it. Some day I may have to.

  12. Diann,
This just happened to me the other night and I panicked so I deleted some pics which I am sure was a mistake now. So you did pay the $5.00 and you think it was worth it????

    Debbie
