Happy New Year!!

Hi everyone!

Happy New Year to y'all!!

I hope all of you are having a fun and relaxing weekend! So, what do you do on New Years Day? Do you get into comfy clothes and kind just veg out for the day? Is this when you take down your Christmas Decorations? Do you have a big get together?

For us today, I think it is going to be a little of vegging out and putting away Christmas stuff (decor and gifts).

And of course, that mean just snacking on munchies all day. So, I fixed us a little goodie treat plate and some hot chocolate.

I love these little cute snowman mugs. I got them at a local thrift store back in November for .20 cents each! And the little plates are from The Christmas Tree Shops ($1.00 each).

I just used our everyday navy napkins under our settings. These are those indestructible type of napkins. I bought 8 of them for a dollar a million years ago.

The month of January always brings to mind snow, snowflakes and snowmen so, I don't really consider these dishes as Christmas. At least not entirely.

However you are spending your weekend, I hope your having a lot of fun!

I joining these fun parties:

Seasonal Sunday

Blue Monday

Mosaic Monday

  5. I put my snowmen out around the first of November and they stay out until around the end of February. Love your little snowmen mugs. They're adorable. Today was a lazy day for us, sitting around in sweats and watching old movies. I'm so glad you're continuing to feel better. You had me worried there for a while. Here's to continued good health for you.

  13. Those look like S'more snowmen to me!
Since I did not decorate for Christmas this year I am tempted to put out more snow characters than usual. All the "real snow" melted but temperatures are freezing. A snow population around the house is cheery for a few months.
Glad you are feeling better. Stay warm!
    Happy New Year

  18. Cute collection of Snowman Dishes. I'm with you about Snowmen not being exclusively Christmas Decorations....especially where it SNOWS. No Snow here in Texas...yet! I wouldn't mind some...just not a blizzard! All the Best in 2011....Sue
