I'm Back with a Little Red

Hi everyone!

Well, we had a fun girl's weekend. We shopped, we gabbed, we laughed and of course, we ate! We forgot we were a group of middle aged women and just got silly. It went by way too fast.

I was able to pretty much finish up my Christmas shopping. I think I have 3 more presents I want to buy and that is it. And the best part is all the presents are wrapped! We had a big wrap-a-thon Saturday night in our hotel room. We all bought a few rolls of Christmas wrapping paper and then swapped out with each other. So, all my presents are wrapped in a whole bunch of different papers. I love to see all the different presents wrapped in bright and fun wrapping.

So, I told you that my mom and I stop at Cracker Barrel on the way up to the hotel for lunch and to kick off our shopping trip by shopping in their store. I swear, that is the only reason we stop there. LOL I think their food is okay but, their store is lots of fun. I always get a new Christmas tree ornament.

So, this is my new ornament for 2010.

Isn't that little teacup and saucer just so pretty! The red cardinal is gorgeous. Wait until I show you the other things that go along with this ornament that I got! Oh, I just love them!!

  8. I love the little cup. It's too pretty to be put away all year. Cracker Barrel is one of my favorite place to eat and I always have to tour the gift shop. I don't often buy things but love looking at all the pretties.

  10. Hello Diann,

I love your new ornament! Great message. I absolutely love Cardinals. Looks like I need to go to CB and get two of them - one for me and one for my mom. I am one of the rare people who are not overly fond of CB's food, but my son loves their chicken fried chicken which is something he sure does not get at home!
