Gone for a Long Weekend!

Hi everyone!

Well, it is the first weekend of December and for me that means our annual "Girl's Shopping Weekend"!

This weekend has been a 20 year tradition for us. And by us I mean all the females in our family. Moms, daughters, cousins and aunts. Half of us live in the Southern part of Michigan and the other half live in the Northern part of Michigan. So, the first weekend we meet in the middle of Michigan at a hotel and shop for the weekend.

The city we meet at has every store imaginable and a big mall. And of course, I know exactly where the good thrift stores are as well!

I must admit, over the years we have been doing less and less shopping and more hanging out in the hotel (we get adjoining rooms) and gab, eat and laugh and then eat more. LOL We all bring a bunch of our favorite treats and munchies. Oooooh and Troy made us a huge batch of buttery caramels!! One of my favs! Counting calories are NOT allowed and the "D" word is forbidden!! No husbands and no children. Just us girls.

I look so forward to this. My mom and I will be heading up early tomorrow morning. We stop and eat lunch at Cracker Barrel on the way to the hotel. This is our tradition because after lunch we kick off our shopping in the C B store. I always buy a new Christmas tree ornament.

I won't be doing any blogging for the 3 days. I will have my laptop but, this is more to show everyone the latest pictures of the princess. LOL

Next week I am having a review and giveaway for a new sponsor. I am really excited about this product. And let me tell you, it has nothing to do with dishes or any of the other things I normally do reviews about. ...tease... tease....tease.....

So, everyone have a fantastic weekend!!
