A Couple of Treasure Finds

Hi everyone!

Well, it's time to show off some of our thrifty finds. I have to admit, I haven't been doing a lot of thrifting for myself lately. I have been searching out perfect gifts for friends and family for Christmas. And unfortunately, I can't show you those because too many of my friends and family read this blog!

But, I do have a couple of things to show you.

I don't buy a lot of these ceramic vintage planters however, I thought this one would turn into a nice Christmas arrangement with pine branches, some other pretties and taper candles. It is a Hull piece. I paid $1.00 for it.

This is a set of 6 salad plates. They were pretty dirty (as you can see from the stack on the side) but, they are so pretty and I love the light green background around the edges. They were made in occupied Japan. The set of 6 were .75 cents.

And I just could NOT pass up this sweet embroidered pillow case! Someone spent a lot of time on it. It was $1.50 and in perfect condition. I just love the bedtime prayer embroidered on it!
