A few days ago I showed you some recent junk jewelry that I got at a yard sale. I told you I collect it and like to use the pieces. I also wrote about losing some weight and all my clothes are too big.
Well, yesterday I grabbed a top out of the closet thinking it would be just fine fit wise since I had bought it in May. I was wrong. It was just a bit to loose and baggy. So, I grabbed a vintage brooch I had and gathered some of the shirt and created extended pleating.

Although you can't tell it from this picture, the brooch is silver with dark blue/gray stones in it. And let me tell you, it is not easy to try to take a picture of a specific part of your clothes when you are wearing them! LOL

Once again, you can't tell from the picture, but the top is one of those that kind of criss cross in the front so the pin lines up with the seam from the criss cross.

I used the brooch on the side to line up with the top's seam.

I added a vintage silver and gray beaded necklace.
It all actually worked. I just wore jeans and used a vintage purse and the look came together.
I know, this is an odd kind of post for me. But, what the heck. LOL I wanted to show you ideas for adding fun vintage bling to your wardrobe. Both the brooch and necklace were bought at an estate sale for under $1.00.
