This week has just been so busy and rushed. I'm telling you, I need to step out of reality for a little while! LOL Well, actually we are going to kind of do just that. We are heading up to my family cabin. We haven't been there this year. My parents are there and really wanted us to come up.

Our family cabin sits on 40 acres in the middle of the woods. And most of the surrounding area is state forest. So, you can walk and walk and not see another cabin, person or car.

It is the perfect escape from reality! The princess is so excited to go to "her cabin". She can run off all that energy until her hearts content! And Troy is excited because we have teaberry plants growing wild everywhere around our cabin and he has been wanting to add wintergreen to our mint beds.

Me, it means little to no responsibility. How wrong is that? LOL I can just sit and read or take walks or sleep. There is no internet back there in the woods. Heck, there are only 2 channels that sort of come in on the tv when the weather is right.
I think I will take the stuff that I have ready to make a Halloween wreath for our door with me. I have had that sitting here all week. No time to do it.

Also, this should be a beautiful time up there with the weather changes and the Autumn colors showing.
I have a few posts scheduled to post while I am gone. We won't be gone for very long, just a few days. But, I won't have access to internet the entire time. I just wanted you all to know in case you email me a question or something and don't hear back from me.

Have a relaxing time. Vacations are great. A way to slow down and enjoy life more.
