Just a Little Girly Tea

Hi everyone!

After spending the last 2 weeks camping, I was really needing a shot of girliness! I love to camp and I love being outside doing things but, I still need to balance it all with soft, pretty and feminine. So, my tea today is just a pretty mix of girly loveliness.

Nothing here is new. Just things I gathered that I had around the house.

The teacup, saucer and spoon have no markings on them. I have had this set for more years than I can remember and for the life of me, I can't remember where I bought it.

A cup of Black Current tea sounds perfect with this teascape.

Doodads. This has been one of the Princess's favorite words lately. My mom create a "doodad box" for her to play with in her fifth wheel while we were camping. And she loved it so much, I had to create a doodad box for our trailer. And as soon as we got home, another doodad box was created for here.

When I was setting this tea, I was informed that I needed some doodads! So, we searched the house for doodads and found some. Purple and Pink faux flowers, one of my favorite glass ornaments, a little white bird with a couple of ceramic white with roses door knobs all under a cloche, a little gold basket with some pearls and a pretty gold and white with pearls cross. You want doodads Princess, I got doodads! LOL

And you know I love my vintage linens so, layering up is always a must for me.

Ahhhh, I feel girly again!

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed your visit!

Don't forget, I have a couple of giveaways going on right now.

First up is an 18 x24 Wall Graphic! Think of all your stunning pictures of past teascapes you have created. That would make such a beautiful wall hanging all framed! I am thinking about using one of my favorite teascape pictures for a wall hanging and frame it with one of the pretty scrolly vintage frames I got thrifting. It would be perfect in my little "teacup" shabby bathroom. Now I just have to figure out which one to choose!

Do you have a favorite teascape or other picture you love that would make a beautiful wall hanging? Head over to this post and sign up for the giveaway!

This giveaway ends this Wednesday so don't wait!

My second giveaway is for a $25.00 Sam's Club gift card! Just think of all the fun things you could get at Sam's Club! My brain is already doing the mental check list thing for all the pantry items I want to start stocking up on for the upcoming holidays. I think this is my way of trying to block out the reality of the heatwave going on! LOL

So, want 25 bucks to use however you want at Sam's Club? Head over to this post and sign up! There are 5 different ways you can be entered!

Okay, now join all my tea party friends at these wonderful ladies blogs!

  17. I think this is my first visit to your blog. It's nice to "meet you" and attend your tea party.

What a lovely tea table you've set. That teacup is exquisite, and so is the white teapot.

We sold our camper in March, so our days of camping are over. When we used to go camping, though, I was always one of those gals that wanted to shower and do her hair and makeup every day.

    Happy Tea Tuesday to you,
Patti (Fill My Cup with Beauty)

  24. I like Princess' request for "doodads"! She sounds like fun. The teapot and the spoon intrigued me, they are very nice and eye-catching. I don't think I have ever seen a ceramic spoon like that!

Know what you mean about needing some girly stuff after camping. I love camping too and have been thinking about a little basket of tea stuff to tuck into the travel trailer, just thinking about it though.
