I Swallowed a Bug!

We interrupt this normal blogcast programming for an update from the world of camping!

Yes, I am camping right now. And I am very distressed! I swallowed a bug! You know when you can feel it in your throat and the sucker will not go down or come back up? Very disturbing!

But, that is not the worst part of it. Do you remember that old song, "I don't know why she swallowed a fly. Perhaps she'll die"? I CAN'T GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD!!! Arghhhh! Now I know why the old lady might die, she was driven crazy by the song in her head!!

Okay, we return you back to your normally schedule programming!

  4. Oh, icky, icky, icky, yuck! Reminds me of going on those lovely evening bike rides with my family and talking as we all rode, unaware, through a cloud of gnats. Inevitably one of us ended up swallowing one or two. Ucky! I hope the bug and the song are gone for you soon. ;-)

May the rest of your camping trip go without hitch.

  8. Drink lots of water...drown that sucket. It'll feel like its on a log flume ride. If that doesnt work take a swig of whisky and that shud quiet it down. Ugh.....thats why I dont camp! I hate bugs, snakes and any creepy crawler. Sorry for your distress, hope you feel better soon!

  9. I have had that happen. I can't remember what actually made it go away. I would eat and drink and get something really hot and keep doing it until it goes away--now is not this a fine excuse to gain some weight?
