Wednesday Gratitude

Hi everyone!

This is just a random post.

I want to thank everyone for their concern and well wishes regarding our little storm and power outage. All is well now.

I am grateful that we had a place to go to wait out the power outage. I am also grateful for the little things that help you during situations like that. We have plenty of candles easy to get to.

Yup, we are having a power outage and I am taking pictures of it! LOL

I was also grateful that I had all of our laundry caught up and put away. So, when we had to grab some clothes in the dark, I could actually do so with relative ease.

We were very lucky not to have suffered any real damage from the high winds and tornadoes. I know others were not so lucky. I only had one causuality.

Although we had fun this past weekend, we were anxious to get home. Our big yearly family and friends reunion is next week. We look forward to this camping get together all year.

Saturday after the Farmers Market, we will head back to our trailer and get it ready to travel. On Tuesday we will take it to the campground we are all meeting at. There will be about 25 camp sites reserved for all of us. It is a State campground so there will be no internet. Yikes! LOL We are going to be there for a week and then take our trailer back to the campground we normally have it at.

We will probably head into town a couple of times to connect to the internet. Both Troy and I have business that we do online so, we need to check in from time to time. I am trying to schedule some posts ahead of time but, I doubt I will link up to very many parties.

I am really looking forward to seeing friends and family I only get to see maybe once or twice a year! We have such a great time when we all meet up camping! Lots of gabbing, laughing, playing and eating will be had! We have all been doing this once a year camp get together for the last 21 years. It is such a wonderful time!

Okay, I am just rambling. I have a ton of things to do to get ready. And what am I doing? Blogging! Oye!

Don't forget, my $70 CSN Gift Card Giveaway ends in two days! Friday to be exact. So, if you haven't entered yet, head over HERE and do so!

  1. I am grateful you had no more damage then the broken pot! Yes your love of candles comes in handy! I am jealous of your fun camping trip! Enjoy and see you on the other side! I know without internet much you will mostly just check on things and do business when you get the chance. I will wait to send your package until you are back!

  6. Indeed you were lucky to have only one little broken pot. Most of the times the storms are not so kind. I thought I had more power outage than most. I finally bought a lot of things battery operated. Take care and be safe.

  8. Hi!
Thank goodness for candles, and piles of clean clothes. When our power goes out I'm always happy when the dishwasher is empty and there are no dirty dishes, because we don't have water until the power is restored (we're on a well with a pump). Glad you didn't have any more serious problems, and thanks for linking up today!
