My 2nd “Edition” of my Thrifting Adventure! & Giveaway!

Hi everyone! If you missed my first edition of my thrifty adventure this past weekend, you can check it out here at the "Market Report". Are you ready to join me while we go into another store I stopped at while thrifting this weekend? Okay, then let’s just jump right in!
A Used Furniture Store/Used Cars. Hum, who knew? LOL I discovered this place last summer by accident. They had some interesting looking tables out front and I was curious so, I stopped in. Little did I know, they had a lot of  interesting little goodies too! I ended up buying some old dishes that were the same dishes that my grandparents used. I was so excited to find them! And the prices were really good.
Well, this time around I still saw a ton of things I would love to have but, as with all the stores, their prices were higher! What is up with that?
Come with me and we will look around some.

Do you see the sign in the window regarding hours? Check out the hours for Sunday! LOL

I had to take a picture of this bumper sticker that was on the door for Troy!

They have several little rooms in this place that are filled with used treasures.

As you can see, things are just stacked and shoved where ever there is a spot. No fancy displaying going on here!

A little bit of something for everybody. I saw several things I would have like to have but, that changed when I looked at the price tag!

However, I did spot this pretty white and blue butter dome. I thought it was “reasonable” at $3.00. A little high for me, but I have never seen one like it before. It was this low because there is a small chip in the plate part.

I saw this set of hobnail milk glass pitcher and 8 matching glasses. I would love to have this set but, it was marked $25.00. That is not a bad price but, it is not a bargain price and it would have taken all my spending money for the day to get it. I have seen this set at another antique mall for $19.00. So, maybe one day.

I love milk glass too. I find most of mine at the Salvation Army, believe it or not. Lot's of it. I usually pay around 2 dollars for it. Sometimes 4. But never more because I just won't. Have you tried looking there?

    Thanks for the giveaway,
    Susan

  17. Good Morning, Diann! That was quite a find! And I loved your commentary... "no fancy displaying going on here"... LOL! I liked that round table that looked like wicker or rattan that was on its side. Wait a minute, that's a headboard, I think. ;-) Anyhow, I like adventure.

I think your giveaway is wonderful, but I was the very blessed recipient of several recently, and I just feel like I should give my chance to someone else. It's only fair, but those are some very, very shiny objects. I love to send cards. Someone is going to be very, very happy!

    XO,

    Sheila :-)
