A "Green" Thrifty Day!

Okay, I am talking about the color green not "eco green". But, hey, isn't thrifting and buying second hand a very earth friendly kind of thing to do? Of course it is!

So, for some reason, on this thrifting trip, I was seeing a green trend happening. Do you ever notice that happening to you? Maybe it's not a color, maybe it's an object like everywhere you go you keep finding awesome thrifty baskets or maybe vases, just something that seems to be repeating in your thrift purchases all of a sudden. It happens to me all the time!

This thrifting adventure was all about the green. Let me show you what I mean.

I found this green shelf with strawberry wallpaper inside. Cute. Not me. I have a redo project in mind for this but, I need another "find" to complete it. It was .90 cents.

I have a set of glasses that match this little vintage bowl. .50 cents

There are a couple of pieces missing from this pictures that I also got. I got a total of 23 items in this set. I just love the retro look of this vintage ironstone set. The soft sagey green and white are very pretty. The whole set......$1.00!

I liked this fun vintage green and gold glass jar. I actually have this jar, with the lid off, sitting on a shelf with a candle in it. It looks very pretty when lit and the light dances around the gold parts. $1.00

Few months ago, I got these two plates and I showed them to y'all. I had no idea what they were. I just thought there fun and funky. A lot of you told me they were artichoke plates. See, that is why I love the blogging world! I have a whole bunch of awesome people who can answer questions for me!

Anyway, I came across this heavy artichoke shaped cover dish! How perfect does this go with the plates?!

And lastly, I found a pair of these quilted shams. The primary color is a pale green. I have mentioned in a past post, that I love pretty quilted pillow shams. I don't care if they all match. They all work together simply because they are all quilted. The pair were $1.25

Just a little FYI, I have a couple of fun giveaways coming up in the next couple of weeks! Ya know, I just like to be a tease! But, I do know your going to love them!

Well, I hope you enjoyed my "green" thrifting today! Now head over and check out these fun parties!

Since I posted that I did not have much green that color has been showing up in my thrifts. Put a little attention on something...
Curious to see what project you have in mind for your strawberry shelf.
