A Can of White Spray Paint~Watch Me go!

Hi Everyone!

Woohoo! We have a trio of fab parties today!

First we have the fun Miss Laurie at "Bargain Hunting and Chatting with Laurie" for A Few of My Favorie Things!

And one of my favorite things, like a lot of you, is spray paint! Seriously, had you know how many folks out there where going though a gazillion cans of this stuff all the time, wouldn't you have bought stock in Krylon? I think since our lives are so crazy, we crave instant gratification and spray paint gives us that! Whats great about it is that if you spray and don't like, just respray! Ta Da! Here are a couple of odds and ends projects that I did this week with a can of white spray paint.

Another project I spray painted this week was this CD/DVD little cabinet that I got for $1.00. I knew exactly what I was going to use it for....NOT CD's. Which brings me to our second party today with the very creative Miss Lezlee at "Prior" for Prior Lives Party!

Prior

This party takes an object of one purpose then use it for a different purpose. So, that's where this CD cabinet comes into play.

After some white spray paint...

So, what am I using my new to me CD cabinet?

Oh, I need to touch up that corner of the door. Anyway...It is the perfect size to fit between my toilet and wall in our super small half bath! And the perfect place to store extra rolls of TP! I have not been able to find a cabinet to fit in this area due to how small it is. This was a great solution for me!

Moving along to our very own Green Thumb, Miss Tootsie at "Tootsie Time" for Fertilizer Friday

Do you remember this bronze metal wall pocket thing?

After some spraying and some white petunias, it is now hanging in my "black and white vignette" area in our yard. Now remember, I just planted the flowers, we need to give them some time to grow! LOL

Our little flower bed is filled with "mystery" annuals. Troy had visited several plant swaps early in the Spring and got a ton of flowers. Some people knew the names of some of their plants but, a lot had no clue. We just planted them and thought we would enjoy all the surprises that bloomed. One of the flowers is this pretty pink one. I have no idea what it is but, I love it. Can anyone tell me the name of this? I would love to get more in the future.

Thank you for joining in on my can of white spray paint adventure this week. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Now don't forget, I have a fun giveaway going on this week! Win 50 Custom Greeting cards!

  1. I love the new toilet paper holder. I am going to watch for a CD holder now. I used to see them at Goodwill all the time. If people see your transformation they'll all run right out and buy them. lol

I'd like to showcase this post in my weekly "Favorite posts of the week on Sunday".

  6. Your projects all look great! Ahhh - the wonders of spray paint!

If I am not mistaken, your pink flower looks like phlox to me. If so, it's a perennial not an annual. How cool is that!

  7. Dontcha just love that spray paint. I got 2 items in the yard right now drying from it. Your pink flower doesn't look a thing like my phlox. It kind of looks like hydrangea, but the leaves aren't as wide as mine. Now I'm dying to know.

  9. I am putting in my two cents and saying that the mystery plant is a phlox. At my old house, the deer just loved the ones I had. I had a rare orange one and it must have been extra tasty since I only got to see it bloom once. Yum.
