Sometimes it is just about the Moment

Today, we spent the whole day doing a gazillion little things. We had a couple of Mystery Shops to do, work in the yard, run to the grocery store, go to Walmart for all those boring life needs (aka...dish detergent, laundry detergent, diapers...you know the stuff). I had to fun over to my mom's, do some laundry...in other words....blah, blah, blah!

So, when we got home late tonight, the princess was so ready to crash, as were we. Troy but the munchkin to bed and I made us some decaf to just relax a moment.

We aren't going fancy schmancy here. Just pull dishes and the coffee carafe server and some cups out of the cabinet. The point is, relax.

Sometimes you just need a quiet moment with your hubby. That's all this is. This little table in the living room, you guys see all the time. It's generally where I take pictures of my pretty finds or do my teascapes. So, it generally stays pretty cleared off. And that works great for moments like this. No pretty staging of dishes. No pretty flower arrangements. No pulling out special linens. Just coffee and a little Panettone to share with the hubs.

Thanks for dropping by for this little moment in my home. I am sharing at House in the Roses for Show Off Your Cottage Monday.
