Some Yard Sale Finds

Yard sales have just started up around here. Unfortunately, it seems like every weekend has been cold and rainy and not the best yard sale weather. But, a few have been determined to have their yard sales anyway. Good for them! I stopped at a couple this past weekend. I didn't find much but, I have a few treasures to show you.

A large glass serving bowl

This pretty little white Fleur de lis plate. This is a Lefton china piece.

I just couldn't resist this pretty vase for .40 cents!

This large white charger plate was bought at SA. It was marked $2.99 and I got it half off that price. I have been trying to accumulate enough different white charger plates for 8 place settings. I am half way there. LOL

A bag of 6 napkin rings for .49 cents. And this bagged "doily" for .49 cents. I knew it wasn't a doily but, I like the look of the linen and the colors. So, wasn't I surprised when I got it home and opened it up!

It's a linen from a hotel in Italy! I love it! I might make a pillow out of it.

I got this set of red/pink/white/green dishes for $2.00! I just thought they would be pretty everyday dishes throughout the summer months. They are made by Bath & Body Works. I never even knew they sold dishes. One of the salad plates had a price tag still on it for $7.00! Yikes!

I put together a quick little table for you to show off these pretty little treasures. Please forgive the wrinkles in the tablecloth. Like I said, I just wanted to throw a table together. This table took me about 15 minutes of grabbing a few things here and there and putting it together so, it's nothing too fancy. I just wanted to show you that a simple $2.00 set of dishes from a yard sale can make a pretty table. We don't have to spend a ton of money.

Of course everything else on the table (linens, cups, saucers and stemware) were also thrift finds.

I'm joining a few fun Wednesday parties. When you get the time, check them out!
