A Pansy Tea Party

Today I am inviting you for a light tea. I am featuring my Pansy teapot, matching salt and pepper shakers, two pansy teabag/spoon rests and one of my newly acquired teacups with pretty purple pansies on it.

A few other flowers are joining the party as well. I have a vase of fresh picked lilacs, my absolute favorite flower. Their sweet perfume smells wonderful here in the living room.

Here is the pretty purple pansy teacup I am using today. It is Sadler Wellington fine bone china (made in England)

A few different pictures before we bring on the refreshments.

We are having both hot tea and a glass of fresh brewed iced tea. I have a little sweet treat, praline pecans to go with the hot tea and some fresh sliced tomatoes to enjoy with the iced version. Now we have a little something to nibble while we chat.

I even polished up a couple of my misfit WM Rogers silverware pieces for your visit.

I also went out to our mint garden and picked a fresh baby sprig of applemint for our iced tea.

Well, I hope you enjoyed your visit with me today for this week's tea party. And just a little FYI, everything shown today was bought 2nd hand. :)

Have a wonderful day!

Now, join all the other fun and fabulous tea parties going on!
