A Personal Request

This isn't something I normally write about on this blog. I don't do a lot of posting about my personal life. My blog is my "escape" so, I try to keep it fun and light. But, today I am asking all of you wonderful ladies out there a favor.

Tomorrow we go to court for a trial regarding our little Princess.I have been just sick with stress over tomorrow's trial. I don't want to go into all the ugly details this trial entails. What I am asking is if you get a chance, please pray for us. More importantly, pray that our Lord gives the Judge the guidance and courage to enforce what is the very most important decision for the welfare, safety and happiness of the little Princess.

I know it isn't very fair of me to ask this of you since you have no knowledge of the circumstances. That is why I ask you to say a prayer for a man, that seems to be a very reasonable Judge.

I am desperately trying to hold on to the fact that God will be there with us and guiding the Judge to make the best decision. This day has been consuming both Troy and my thoughts for weeks but, this past week it has really been stressing us out.

Well, thank you for listening to me. I truly appreciate it.

Diann

  1. Yes, I know how taxing a trial can be. I've been to court several times in a one-year period and it was very stressful. Will pray for you

  2. Miss Diann...I sure will pray to our Lord to guide your judge. I will ask he will be guided with compassion and hopefully find a reasonable outcome for you..one that will be something you can find peace with. so often trials are that...a trial for our patience, our comfort and our sanity. Sending you good thoughts and big hugs...beth

  5. You've got my prayers. I KNOW what it's like first hand to have to worry about going to court over and over for your children. I pray A LOT for my situation and just remind myself "This too shall pass". God will be there with you tomorrow.

  14. Oh Diann! Although I don't know the circumstances, I am so sorry for you. There was a time in my life that I was going before a (Thank God) very reasonable judge. I was consumingly sick for the welfare of my children. In my life, I never in a million years would have thought that my children and I would ever go thru anything so devistating.

God was with us and the outcome, although leaving scars for a while, was good. I will say a prayer for you and your family. God Bless You, Karen

  15. I have faith in our justice system. You hear about things when they go wrong but 99% of the time judges are decent and reasonable people. I'm sure yours will be too.
