A Couple of Beautiful Fun Finds

Woohoo, it's Friday! The weather has been beautiful here this past week and we have bee enjoying it! I hope it stays that way. Well, since it is Friday, that means it's time for Show and Tell Friday and Friday~~Finding Beauty!

These are more of my finds from the fun thrifting adventure I had earlier this week with the 50% off my entire purchase coupon.

I spotted this beautiful 2 tiered dish on the bottom shelf packed in with some pots and pans. Maybe another of those "I'm going to stash it here where no one will find it" kinds of things. It was so filthy that I couldn't see the beautiful pansy on it. It still needs some TLC but, I am so thrilled to have found it! It does have a chip in each one of the plates. Fortunately, I'm fine with a little chip here and there. Once I get out the brass cleaner and really clean it up, it is going on my coffee table with some wrapped Easter candy. These pictures do not do it justice. The pretty gold lacy pansy design is just so lovely!

Next up, I just couldn't pass this wonderful Spring flower teapot with matching salt and pepper shakers! I have been looking for something like this for a long time. Or should I say, looking for one that I could afford. It is just going to be so pretty on a Spring table! I love all the beautiful flowers and the colors. And even the cute basket design they are all in is wonderful. All three pieces are in perfect shape. Nary a scratch or chip anywhere!

Now, These are just fun napkin rings. They are bright colored acrylic square napkin rings. But, they have a fun twist to them! on both sides of each holder is a well for salt and pepper! You shake it out he sides. Isn't that just totally fun and cool!

Troy surprised me with this cute Easter dish. He found it for .25 cents at the flea market. After I cleaned it up, I decided that I finally have the perfect dish for Troy and his M & M's! Every dish that comes into this house Troy's number one comment is, "Hey, that would make a perfect dish for M & M's!" Of course he says that about my soup tureens too! LOL So, here you go Troy! This one is for you. :)

Maybe Troy won't get a chance at them. I think the Little princess discovered them!

Okay, now for a question for all of you ladies. Troy bought me this set of 4 little spoons thinking they were mustard spoons or maybe jam spoons. they are cast aluminum (I think). But, when we looked up mustard/jam spoons, these didn't really match. I thought maybe old spoons from a little girls dish set. I just don't know. any ideas? Here are some pictures.

  12. Love it all. It looks very eastery. Wow, that is a big bunny bowl for .25cents. Maybe the spoons are for demitas. We need to come to an agreement about your salt spoons. I gotta get you a picture of my salt cellars. I think I have 6. But, they are really small.

  13. What fabulous finds! Something about the 2 tiered dish is tweaking at my memory banks. I know I have seen that pattern in my family but cannot recall which family member had/has it. Cute little teapot!
