Works For Me Product Review - The Couponizer

Today is Works For Me Wednesday at "We Are That Family".

This is kind of an odd post as far as linking it to a weekly party. But, I actually feel strongly that this fits because it really does Work For Me!

Early last month I received The Couponizer to try out. I was very excited to try this product because I had been hearing about it on a lot of other blogs. The poor folks at The Couponizer probably think that I just blew them off since it has been about 5 weeks since I got this product. But, for me, this was one of those things that I really had to try for awhile before I told you guys about it.

If you are like me, a major coupon user, you have tried every method under the sun to be organized with coupons. Cutting out coupons doesn't do you a bit of good if you can't find them when you need them. Not to mention, couponing takes time so, if you can speed up the process, you are more likely to use coupons.

I have been couponing for over 20 year. I grew up with my mom being a major couponer so, it is 2nd nature to me. I have tried so many methods of couponing. I have tried:

** those little accordion coupon files

** The 3 x 5 index card box method

** File folders

** Baseball card album

** envelope system

Those are just to name a few. I think that most people who don't use coupons are just frustrated with how much time it takes and how difficult it is to find the coupon you need. It can be a total pain. I can so relate.

The reason it has taken me 5 weeks to write this review is because with a product like this, you need to try it for awhile. I mean REALLY use it. Let's face it, what usually happens with something like this? The first week you are all gung-ho. Woohoo, look at me all organized and using coupons! The second week you are still pretty organized and excited. The third week, you are at the "Well, okay this works but, I really don't have time for this right now". The fourth week, "Um, yeah, I still use it once in awhile". And by the fifth week you are thinking, "Just another thing sitting around the house". Right?

That is why I didn't write a review about The Couponizer until I really gave it a real honest test drive. After all, they aren't paying me to write a review. They are not compensating me in any other way. And just because I got the product to review doesn't mean I need to write anything about it. I could just send them a polite email saying thanks but, it really didn't work for me (which I have done before).

But guess what? I really like this system a lot! The Couponizer works for me!! It is neat and has everything you need and most importantly it holds to the K.I.S.S. theory (Keep It Simple Silly...okay, so I don't use the word "Silly" but whatever...! LOL).

The Couponizer keeps everything easy and at hand. No big messes. No trying to figure out where to put this or that coupon. No having 50 million different things to try to make couponing easier. Nope, just a nice simple system that can help you save money for your family!

Let's take a look at The Couponizer.

This is what you get....

The Couponizer organizer
A pair of small scissors and a mat that opens up to help you decide where to put your coupons. And a clear zippered case that holds everything nice and neat.
Inside The Couponizer, you will first see a Shopping List Pad
Next up, an area for the coupons you KNOW you re going to use on that trip
And I really love this pocket! It is for coupons that are about to expire. there is nothing more frustrating than getting to the checkout only to find that half of your coupons have expired!
They even included a few clear card holders to keep all your Store Reward cards in so they are always easy to get to.
Next up, is the individual categories for your coupons
This is another great feature. They have an area to keep all those coupons that are not grocery coupons. You are out and about and decide to stop for dinner and realize you have a coupon for such and such place. but, of course that coupon is sitting on the kitchen counter! And what about all our favorite coupons? Michael's, JoAnns and Hobby Lobby. Now you have a place to keep them handy!
And you can tuck your receipt into a pocket so you always know where to find it! I used to have so many receipts floating around the inside of my purse. Now, I immediately put them away. I love this feature a lot. There is also a section for rebates, sweepstakes, refunds and rewards. Another area that I had struggled with keeping on top of.
And this is just a fun boost for you. You can track your savings.
This is a fold out coupon organizer. This so makes organizing everything super easy! Just lay it out on the table, floor or bed (whatever works for you) and you can quickly sort your coupons. No more scattered piles. this is a MAJOR time saver and so simple!
And this is what it looks like when you are all done with sorting your coupons . nice, simple and clean. No big bulky things with coupons falling out! Love it!

The Couponizer is such an awesome system! I only wish I would have had it a gazillion years ago! It would have saved me so many hours of frustration. And a lot of money!

It is a very nice quality product. Not one of those flimsy coupon organizers that are everywhere. I really can't recommend The Couponizer enough. It has saved me a lot of headache and money. Now is where I would normally tell you what I didn't like about the product. The only thing I could think of that wasn't already included is a pen.

Thank you so much to the folks at The Couponizer for letting me try this product out! You can so tell that this was created by someone who really uses coupons!

Disclaimer: I received The Couponizer for free to try. I received no other compensation in any way for reviewing this product. I was not required to do any kind of blog post for trying this product. The above opinions are completely my own.
